Yoko A. Yarita, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland
Yoko has practiced base building and interior architecture for new construction and adaptive-reuse / renovations for two decades. In addition to having designed, produced and administered construction contracts on commercial office buildings up to 300,000 SF in size, Yoko has planned, programmed, space planned and designed corporate headquarters, healthcare facilities, public buildings, childcare centers, and automotive dealerships.
Her strategic and detailed approach to every project and client transcends all project typologies and instead focuses on the client’s financial goals and the users’ operational needs to craft a unique design strategy that is pragmatic and efficient, yet sufficiently flexible, aesthetically compelling and timeless.
Yoko is well respected by local code officials and permit plans reviewers in various local jurisdictions for her detailed approach to building code analyses and her code-compliant but creative design solutions. Her passion to “do things right the first time” has garnered her the respect of her peers and the recognition by her clients and their contractors.

Andy has served his client base of private developers, corporate owners, property managers, private businesses large and small, universities and government agencies for over 35 years. He provides the client and the design team with project leadership and guidance that is critical from the initial feasibility studies, planning, zoning phases through project delivery and post construction follow-up. He has managed and delivered projects ranging from as small as 900 SF to over 1,000,000 SF.
The depth of his experience in the mid-Atlantic market and his extensive knowledge base of “lessons learned” in construction methodologies, management and project delivery methods make him an invaluable asset, allowing his clients and development team to make informed decisions throughout the project development and construction.
Andy is an exceptional leader, manager and mentor whose contributions to a project clients have come to rely on to insure a quality project is delivered.
